DryStrip^TMis a trade name of IPG strip for isoelectric focusing of two dimensional electrophoresis. Isoelectric focusing (IEF) represents the first dimensional separation of proteins in two- dimensional (2DE) electrophoresis. Using immobilized pH gradient (IPG) strips facilitate this analysis without pH gradient drift. Each sample protein applied to an IPG strip will migrate and separated to its isoelectric point.
